Why Did I Start This Blog?

Hi ! Welcome to my Blog! I started this blog with the intention of adding a stream of income on top of my EBay reselling hustle and my full time job as an assistant manager at Starbucks. I also just returned to school to pursue a Finance Degree. This Blog serves to document my Journey to Financial Freedom for the next few years in Order to achieve Financial Freedom and buy my mom the house she deserves. My target audience will be for the younger teen to early 20s, to map out all the decisions I made starting at 24 years old. Hopefully this blog can help guide you to make better decisions than I did and inspire you to start planning for retirement as early as you can. I created this website on March 6, 2024 and it was just announced at Starbucks that fast food wage is increasing for everyone so I’m really excited for that and to add that to my budget that I started working on this year. I’m in a lot of credit card debt but so far I’ve made lots of progress and bring those debts down, and I plan to tackle my car loan starting next year. I spend my free time messing with my budget, trying to squeeze out every penny towards planning my future. I know it’s spontaneous to try to retire my mom in the next 5 years, but I want to do everything I can to get her there. That’s where I’m at as of right now.
